A Prayer A Day -     Don't Have A Stony Hardened Heart!
If today's prayer is a blessing to you, please share it with others.... Please help "A Prayer A Day" reach the masses by sharing it on your social media sites. Use the Social Media links above. May the Lord Bless you Richly! ... Destined to reach the world for Christ!

Today's Scripture(s) - Mark 4:5-6; 16-17
"And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. ... And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended."
"Lord take out the stony heart in me and put in a heart of flesh that is pliable in your hand, a heart Lord that you can write your word on..." This is part of what I pray on the daily. How many of us who claim Jesus, are walking around with stony hearts? Do you know that people who vehemently debate the word of God have stony hearts? We are not to debate the word of the Lord. We are to share His word and keep it moving. When we know what we know, what we know and it is in the word of the Lord, there is no room for debate, either man will hear or man will not hear. The Lord says in Mark 4:9 ".... He that hath ears to hear, let him hear" (So much to pray about. So much to pray for). In this parable of the sower, the sower is the Lord and He sows the seeds of the gospel, in this parable we see several types of grounds or hearts the word is sown on. We looked at the seed that was sown by the wayside and the fowls of the air came and snatched the seed a few days back. Today it's about the seed that is sown on stony grounds or hearts that don't have much earth. We cannot let our hearts become so hardened that when we are given the word of the Lord it cannot take root and grow. Some of us have serious fallow ground that needs to be broken up and softened so that when the seeds of the word are sown they can take root and begin to grow so that we can withstand the winds and the storms of life. We must become fertile ground dear ones. Good ground. Our lives depend on it. If we do not become good ground that takes in the Word and lives by the Word and is nourished by the Word we will wither away, meaning? We will hear the word and go and not apply it to our lives and we will slip back into the old ways doing the old things allowing the "old man" to resurrect. Have you heard people that said after going to church and hearing the word say "Pastor sure did preach today, what a good word!" and then you may see them again and they are doing the things that are the complete opposite of what the word that was preached from the word of God said to do? Seed fell on ground that was not good and did not take root. What about people who have things happen in their lives that they feel as if the Lord failed them so they turn away from the Word of God they toss away their bibles and say "I'm not serving God anymore". Seed fell on ground that was not good and did not take root. I am learning something wonderful righteous ones and I want to share it with you... When your life seems to be going in a direction that takes you into a storm, pray harder, cry out to the Lord more, turn to the Lord with all you heart, don't run from Him cry if you must, have a tantrum if you have to but do not walk away from the Father. Stay in His face keep reading His word, keep praying His word don't give up. He WILL bring you peace. He WILL comfort you. He WILL take care of you. Just keep doing what He has called you to. "Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you." Hosea 10:12.

Today's Prayer. Read It Aloud. Make It Your Own:
Father I love you. I love you and I thank you for all that you do for me. I thank you Father for being so good and so great to me. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for teaching me. Thank you for hearing me. Thank you Father for everything, you are so great and you are so wonderful and I am so thankful and grateful to you for all that you do for me. Thank you Lord for keeping watch over me, thank you Lord for taking care of me and providing for me and for protecting me and shielding me and keeping all hurt harm and danger away from me. I thank you Father for you Word. Thank you for instruction, thank you for keeping me on the strait and narrow. Thank you Father for leading and guiding my footsteps, thank you Father for blessing the work of my hands, thank you Father for allowing me to wake up this morning, thank you Father for giving me rest and sleep last night. I thank you Father for keeping a roof over my head and for food on my table and thank you Father for keeping me in good health. I thank you Father that I walk in health and healing, you are so great you are so wonderful and I bless you this day my Lord, my Savior, my King. This day Father I will break up the fallow ground of my heart, I want you to sow your word in my heart and I want my heart, my ground to be good ground. The fowls of the air I will not allow to snatch my seed, the sun I will not allow to burn and wither my seed, the seed that you sow in my heart will not fall by the wayside, the seed Lord that you sow in my heart will not fall on stony ground. I will keep my heart, my ground soft and pliable and ready to receive the seed that you sow Lord. My heart, my ground will be good ground. I will be good soil Father. Your word, your seed is taking root and growing in me and will produce one hundred fold! I am good ground Lord, my heart is pliable in your hand, you can use me for your glory Lord, you can use me Lord to bring you honor and praise, you can use me Lord. I am a yielded vessel for your use. Lord I love you, Lord I bless you, Lord I praise and worship and adore your great goodness. You are awesome, You are glorious, You are magnificent, You are worthy, worthy, worthy because you are holy, holy, holy and I worship your great and wonderful and awesome, sweet and precious holy name. Bless you, bless you, bless you Father God. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN
